S*M*A*S*H, from Welwyn Garden City, came to prominence in the early 90s. In 1994, they released their debut album and scored a hit single, appeared on ToTP and on the covers of NME and MM. A decade after imploding in 1996, they reformed and made two more albums before disbanding again in 2018.
